Charles Manson, Timothy Leary, & the Animals of NIMH" is a reality-bending, single-player stealth action game. It features T.C. (The Control), a hyper-intelligent rat protagonist who wields a large Buck Knife to solve puzzles, eliminate threats, and free fellow animals caught in a civil war within an infamous National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) lab experiment.

 

The conflict revolves around two warring charismatic, ideologue rats: Timothy Leary, a technocratic psychonaut aiming to start an Underground Railroad to escape, and Charles Manson, a charismatic sociopath advocating that liberation can only be found through surrendering completely to one's true animal nature.

 

Along the way, you'll encounter a cast of eccentric characters, each with their own agenda and secrets to unveil. Drugged and trapped in bizarre experiments conceived by psychedelic scientist jailors, T.C. and the animals of NIMH find themselves separated by walls but united as they attempt to find psychic liberation, love, and liberty.
